Spark Summit
A Spark summit is a great opportunity to explore and discuss a wide range of topics that are related to big data processing with Apache Spark. Participants include technology experts highlighting different Spark features or application end-users that demonstrate in which company Spark is used. The events take mostly place in the USA while there are more recently also events in Europe. This is due to the growing community around using the Apache Spark tool. Another highlight of the events are the keynote speakers that are from well-known companies such as Databricks, Forrester, Hortonworks, IBM, Intel, McGraw-Hill Education, Microsoft, or Salesforce.
