Rattle GUI for R Tool
While the ‘statistical computing with R’ tool is quite known since it can be considered as one of the most used data analysis tools it is less known that ‘Rattle’ offers a very nice GUI for the R tool. Just use libary(rattle) after downloading it first from one of the R CRAN mirror pages.
For more details we refer to the package “Rattle” description (PDF) that describes how Rattle is available for free as download. It also describes the package in detail.
It is however very important to understand that Rattle shows certain limits when working with big data because of its inherent serial approach.
