RFID – Radio-Frequency Identification Data
RFID stands for radio-frequency identification and it enables the automatic identification and tracking of tags attached to objects. In many applications a very high number of those tags are used and thus it is often related to big data today. One example of such an application is described in the bee article. It describes how bees are equipped with such tags and how it helps scientists to better analyse the bee behaviour.
